Who am I?

Hello, my name is Eleanor, and I am an illustrator based in Oxfordshire. I specialise in children’s illustrations and love creating vibrant worlds that evoke feelings of warmth and comfort.

Much of my inspirations come from nature and spending time outside relaxing in the sunshine outside my house. This natural imagery is a frequent element within my work as I find myself often illustrating woodlands and serene landscapes.

Whilst I primarily specialise in digital illustrations, I also love to experiment with more traditional methods, including gouache paints, oil pastels and acrylic markers. I enjoy working on graphic design projects alongside my illustrations.

I come from a large family with 4 sisters (with me being the youngest). My experiences growing up with such a big family really shaped the art I create now. Me and my sisters used to spend hours having drawing competitions when we were little and so creating work always makes me feel connected to them and my memories.

I also have a cat named inky. She is very fussy, but she can also be the sweetest cat you will ever meet. I have always been an animal lover but spending time with Inky really fuels my adoration and makes me want to create art surrounding cute animals.

I have aspirations of one day creating a best selling children’s book but for now I would love to just keep improving my work and discovering the artist I want to be. My illustrations give me a platform to express myself and so creating art is one of the most enriching  activities I could imagine.

Thanks for spending the time getting to know me!
